We’re Hiring!

Charlie Luxton Design is seeking a Part-II architectural assistant in North Oxfordshire, UK.

Based in the rural North Oxfordshire countryside, we are a small practice looking for a resourceful, independent and creative Part-II to join our team.

Charlie Luxton Design works on a range of projects including Passive standard new-builds, sensitive listed building refurbs and small housing developments. Every project we do is different with an emphasis on the right design for each specific site/client/brief. Common threads from sustainability to fine detailing run throughout.

As we are a small practice the ability to think independently and work pro-actively in an organised manner is key. A willingness to cross-pollinate ideas and engage and communicate with the rest of the office and clients is essential.

Your work would span all stages of our projects, from concept design, presentation graphics and model making, to construction drawings and site visits. An interest in ‘building things’ and the practical side of architecture is crucial.

Fluency in the English language is vital and experience working in the UK is beneficial.

As we are a rurally based studio with projects spread across a wide area, applicants must have a full driving licence and their own transport.

Please send your CV and key examples of your work to info@charlieluxton.com. We will contact shortlisted applicants for interview.

Charlie Luxton Design is an equal opportunities employer.
