Walter Segal Exhibition

The AA School of Architecture are holding an exhibition, Walters Way: The Self Build Revolution, about the work of Walter Segal who developed an iconic self-build method in the 1960s. Focusing on the work of the Lewisham self-builders of the 1980s, the exhibition is bringing together original drawings, documents and furniture designed by Segal along with archival film and photographs. All of this housed inside a newly constructed section of a Segal house, and including an interpretation of his technique by 2015 Turner prize winners, Assemble!

Next Tuesday 26th January at 6pm, Charlie will be taking part in an event the AA are running alongside the exhibition, ‘Walter Segal and the Future of Self-Build’.
