We’ve received planning permission for a rural events venue on a working farm in Oxfordshire. The scheme transforms an already successful events business in to a year round offer that extends the season and integrates more closely with the rhythm of the farm.
The proposed buildings draw on the rural character of the area, their form and materiality drawing on the simplicity of farmyard buildings.
Cabins for accommodation and wellness are positioned discreetly around the site, and the events barn is situated in an elevated position with views out over the lake and valley.
The buildings sit lightly on the land with biodiversity enhancement woven throughout the proposal.
