A sensitive conversion of a field barn which sits on top of a hill with one of the best views across North Oxfordshire. We worked hard to put new accommodation at a lower level to retain the barn’s simple open form and make the most of the view. An authentic use of materials and simplicity in the design approach was key to the conversion appearing as though nothing had been done.

Local stone was used and careful restoration of the barn roof was needed. MVHR and a ground source heat pump provide a comfortable living environment all year round.
