Tree Milling

In preparation for work to start on site, two Sycamore trees, much loved by the client have had to be taken down. We suggested they could have the trees milled and given a new lease of life for for the new house.

The trees are cut in to sections and winched on to a bandsaw. The trunk is then trimmed to square it away for the saw and once it’s positioned in place the saw can make neat slices through the trunk with very little waste. The beautiful pale wood of the Sycamore is perfect for interior joinery and furniture.
