We have been working with Steico, specialists in wood fibre insulation and timber joists, to create giant timber frame ‘kits’ where every length of wood is pre-cut and numbered off-site ready to be assembled quickly and efficiently on site. This helps to reduce costs but crucially reduce waste. We have assembled the kit for the frame for our new studio in just over two weeks which has been boarded and is ready for the wood-fibre insulation to be blown between the layers.
