Work has started on site on a project using a timber I beam system we’ve been developing, and first trialled in our own studio here in Oxfordshire.
Crockwell Farm is a Class Q conversion that adapts an existing steel framed agricultural building to support the roof structure and rooflights, with an independent timber framed building inside sat on the existing concrete slab.
As demonstrated in these images, the system uses pre-cut, labelled timber structural elements delivered to site for quick, efficient timber frame erection.
