Plunkett Foundation

It was recently announced that Charlie has been appointed as Plunkett Foundation’s Centenary Ambassador. The Plunkett Foundation has been supporting and empowering local community groups for the last one hundred years by providing practical advice, support and training to help local communities run successful community businesses.

Charlie hosted Plunkett’s 2018 Rural Community Business Awards where he met and heard first-hand of the difference communities make when they rally together to save a local asset.

He will host key organisational events in the charity’s 2019 calendar, and support the launch of Plunkett’s centenary fundraising campaign later this spring.
