We’ve just received planning permission for a new garden building at the rear of an existing stone cottage in West Oxfordshire. The client wanted to embrace a slightly agricultural, garden shed aesthetic so we’ve translated this into a simple pitched roof structure of timber and tin that extends the living space right out into the garden. The ‘shed’ is encapsulated by a Cotswold stone wall, visually tying it to the main house. Access between the two is via a short glass link.
