An old Victorian school house in a Cotswold conservation area was in need of attention and modernisation. A low energy extension has been created to provide a direct route and connection from the main house through the extension and to the garden beyond. The new space provides a light, well insulated voluminous place where the family can gather together. Sustainable, high quality materials and a light touch help to differentiate the addition from the lovely existing Victorian building.
